Designers, developers, photographers and writers use FormSubmit to add a contact form to a portfolio in minutes — on any host, with no server and no exposed email address.

The problem

Portfolios are usually static — GitHub Pages, Netlify, Vercel, Framer or a site generator. Putting your email in a mailto: link invites scrapers, and building a backend for one form is overkill.

How FormSubmit helps

Set your form's action to your endpoint and you're done. Messages arrive by email with Reply-To set to the sender, your address never appears in your HTML, and the honeypot plus heuristics keep spam out. The free plan (1 form, 50 submissions a month) covers most portfolios.

Nice touches

Turn on an autoresponder so prospective clients know you'll reply, and use a _subject field to tag enquiries from different pages. Photographers can accept reference images with file uploads.

Get started

  1. Sign in with Google — the free plan includes one form.
  2. Create a form, or start from a template in the form generator.
  3. Paste the snippet into your site and send a test.
