Send form submissions to Airtable
Create an Airtable record for every submission using your own personal access token. Field names in your form map to column names in your table, and optional typecasting lets Airtable turn text into select options, numbers and dates.
How to connect Airtable

In Airtable, create a table whose column names match your form field names (e.g. name, email, message).

Create a personal access token at airtable.com/create/tokens with the data.records:write scope and access to your base.

Copy your base ID (starts with “app”) from the API docs or the base URL.

In FormSubmit, open your form → Integrations → Airtable and enter the token, base ID and table name.

Enable Typecast if you use single-select, number or date fields, then click Send test.
What FormSubmit sends
- One record per submission
- Every submitted field as a text value (typecast optional)
- A Files column with signed links when files are uploaded

Frequently asked questions
Why did my test fail with UNKNOWN_FIELD_NAME?
Airtable rejects fields that don’t exist in the table. Add a column for every form field name (including Files if you accept uploads).
