Airtable

Create an Airtable record for every submission with your personal access token.

Setup

  1. Create (or open) a table and add a column for every form field name — for a contact form: name, email, message. Add a Files column if your form accepts uploads.
  2. Create a personal access token at airtable.com/create/tokens with the data.records:write scope and access to your base.
  3. Copy the base ID (starts with app) from the base URL or its API documentation.
  4. In FormSubmit, open your form → Integrations → Airtable and enter the token, base ID and table name (or table ID).
  5. Enable Typecast if you use single select, number, checkbox or date columns so Airtable converts text values for you.
  6. Click Send test.

Field mapping

Submission field names map 1:1 to column names; values are sent as text. Multi-value fields (checkbox groups) are joined with commas. If a field doesn't exist as a column Airtable rejects the record with UNKNOWN_FIELD_NAME — add the column and retry from the delivery log.
