Send form submissions to Slack
Post every new form submission to a Slack channel as a neatly formatted message with each field, file links and a button to open it in FormSubmit. It uses a Slack Incoming Webhook — no bot permissions or OAuth needed.
How to connect Slack

In Slack, create an app (or use an existing one) and enable Incoming Webhooks.

Click “Add New Webhook to Workspace”, pick the channel and copy the webhook URL.

In FormSubmit, open your form → Integrations → Slack and paste the URL.

Click Send test — a sample message appears in the channel.
What FormSubmit sends
- A header with the form name
- One section per field (up to 20)
- Links to uploaded files
- An “Open in FormSubmit” button

Frequently asked questions
Does FormSubmit need access to my Slack workspace?
No. The incoming webhook URL can only post to the one channel you chose. We store it encrypted.
Can I post to several channels?
Add one Slack integration per channel.
