What is FormSubmit?
FormSubmit is a headless form backend. You point any HTML or JavaScript form at your FormSubmit endpoint and we store submissions, filter spam, email you and forward data to webhooks and integrations.
Do I need to install anything?
No. There's no SDK or plugin to install. Set your form's action attribute to your endpoint URL, or POST to it from JavaScript.
Does it work with WordPress?
Yes. Paste the HTML form into a Custom HTML block or widget — no contact form plugin needed. It also works with Elementor, Divi and classic themes.
Can I use FormSubmit with React, Next.js, Vue or Svelte?
Yes. Submit with fetch and Accept application/json to get JSON responses. The form generator exports components for each framework.
Is there an API to read submissions?
Not in the current version. You can export CSV or JSON from the dashboard, receive webhooks in real time, or sync to Google Sheets or Airtable.
Can multiple people share one account?
Accounts are single-user today. You can send notifications to any number of verified email addresses.
How do I sign in?
With your Google account. There is no email/password sign-up.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your account returns to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted; forms beyond the free limit are paused and you choose which stays active.
