Kit (ConvertKit)

Subscribe people to Kit and optionally add them to a form or tag.

Setup

  1. In Kit, open Settings → Developer and create a v4 API key.
  2. Optionally note the ID of a Kit form or tag (visible in its URL) — adding subscribers to it can trigger sequences and automations.
  3. In FormSubmit, open your form → Integrations → Kit and paste the API key, plus the optional form and tag IDs.
  4. Click Send test.

What gets sent

  1. The subscriber is created or updated with email_address and first_name (from first_name or the first word of name).
  2. If a form ID is set, the subscriber is added to that Kit form.
  3. If a tag ID is set, the tag is applied.
